Our test results:
The new Dunlop Sonic Core revelation 135 felt lighter that it was specked. Strung 154 weight corresponds to 120 gram frame weight, and that together with head light balance allowed us to generate major racquet head speed. Fanned out string pattern expanded the sweet spot to the tip of the racquet. That gave our power more reach. This head-light racquet gave us a chance to do more with shot placement, and at the same time we were able to generate more racquet head speed to power through volleys and attacking shots. Unlike some other very light racquets, this one felt solid and stable when we took it hard to the ball. We felt this racquet will work well for any player looking to re-shape their attacking ability, or advanced Junior player, or any player looking for a truly light racquet.
